Telespine is pleased to announce the addition of Mike Biselli to the Telespine Board of Directors. Mike’s entrepreneurial passion dates back to his childhood, when he created and executed a game plan for achieving a collegiate athletic scholarship. After earning two degrees from Stanford University as a full-ride scholarship student-athlete (earning 1st Team All Pac-10 honors, 2000 Rose Bowl appearance, and conference academic accolades), Mike launched Biselli Development Group (BDG). BDG consulted and matched high school student-athletes to collegiate athletic programs, such as: UCLA, Ohio State University, and UC-Berkeley.
In 2003, Mike began his healthcare career by working with industry leading medical device companies, including: Smith & Nephew, Synthes and NuVasive. After working in the device industry for 9 years, Mike’s business expertise was chosen to co-found MedPassage.com. In 2014, Mike sold MedPassage to Evolution Financial Group.
Since exiting MedPassage, Mike has been helping the PrIME Health Collaborative expand their efforts across Colorado. PrIME’s goal: coalesce all digital health stakeholders in CO, and those interested in the market of digital health innovation, to create a national leading digital health cluster within five years. Stakeholders include: university health systems, large health networks/providers, payers, venture capital, entrepreneurs, and supporting organizations.
Since February 2014, Mike has been working with government, academic, non-profit organizations, and private entities (startups to Fortune 20) to envision and develop a Health Technology Innovation Campus, located in Denver, CO. Mike’s vision for this campus is to empower these healthcare innovators focused on building: digital health enterprise platforms, mobile technologies, wearable, and smart device technologies. This new campus for digital health innovation and collaboration is called Catalyst. www.catalysthealthtech.com
Outside of Mike’s entrepreneurial ventures, he enjoys engaging with initiatives that are aligned with his values, beliefs, and passions. From working with Make-A-Wish, guest lecturing at the University of Denver, mentoring students at Stanford University, advising startups in the CO ecosystem, to giving back to the Denver community via Mile High Gives, Mike is committed to leaving a lasting impact on the people and movements for which he is grateful to be a part of.
