Telespine was recently selected as one of Colorado’s top digital health startups for creating innovative technology solutions to address consumer healthcare needs. Telespine was chosen after a 3-month selection process sponsored by Prime Health Collaborative and the Colorado Health Foundation. Telespine was thrilled to be selected as one of the Digital Health Challenge winners after pitching at a live panel event of healthcare executives and audience members.
The Colorado Digital Health Challenge sought to curate and vet the best and brightest digital health companies in Colorado. The program is designed to address challenges to our health care system by providing breakthrough innovations that achieve the Triple Aim of better population health, lower cost and an improved patient experience. As a winner of the Digital Health Challenge, Telespine was awarded a cash prize along with a pilot study with Denver Health. The pilot study will look at the cost effectiveness compared to traditional solutions of telehealth for low back pain. Each of the six presenting companies was able to make a “deal” with one or more of the judges to pilot or further explore their digital health care platform. Caring in Place, Cirrus MD, RxRevu and Telespine will share the $100,000 prize.
